Dub Links

Create Dub short links for your entries.

Link your Dub* account to your Craft site to easily create short links for your entries. Once configured, a Short Link panel will appear in the sidebar of any entry that belongs to a section with URLs.

Managing Short Links

• Creating: enter a custom slug in the Short Link sidebar section and save the entry. If left blank, no short link is created.
• Updating: ppdate the short link slug in the sidebar and save. The existing Dub link is updated in place.
• Deleting: a short link will be removed from Dub when an entry is deleted or when a short link slug is removed and the entry is saved.
• Archiving: a short link will be archived in Dub when an entry is disabled or moved to the trash, and restored along with the entry.

Optional Sidebar Items

• QR Code: a QR code for the short link can be shown in the sidebar as a small icon or a full image, with a download button.
• Click Count: a read-only click total for the short link in the sidebar.

Settings & Commands

• Sections: choose which sections short links are enabled for, in settings or with the DUB_SECTIONS environment variable.
• Domains per Site: each site with its own base URL can have its own short link domain. Sites left blank use the main Domain.
• User Permissions: View the Short Link panel and Edit the short link slug permission items.
• Console Commands: dub/test checks your API key end to end, dub/adopt brings existing Dub links under the plugin's management, and dub/check finds links that are missing, edited at Dub, or pointing at the wrong place.
• Utilities: Dub Links runs the dub/check report in the control panel, with each finding linked to its entry, and can repair what it finds.
