Editrix

Editrix finds text across your Craft content, shows what a replacement would change, applies it, and lets you undo it value by value.

What it does

• Searches entries, globals, Matrix and Neo blocks, categories and rich text fields (CKEditor, Redactor)
• Supports regular expressions, case sensitivity and whole words
• Shows a preview and a dry run before anything is saved, with the original and proposed text side by side
• Lets you leave single matches out of a replace
• Searches and replaces link addresses in rich text

Safe by design

• Every value is written to a log before its entry is saved, so a replace that is cancelled or interrupted can still be reverted
• Revert restores values one by one and never overwrites an edit made since
• Follows Craft's own permissions: people only find and change the entries they can already open and save
• A match edited after the search is skipped and marked "Changed since search"

Built for large sites

Searches and replaces run on Craft's queue, with a progress bar and a Cancel button, so a large site does not hit a request time limit.

Editions

Lite covers search, replace, preview, dry run and 30 days of logs and revert. Pro adds Matrix and Neo blocks, categories, several sites in one search, search scope by section, entry type and field, preserve case, CSV and JSON export, the command line, 90 days of logs and higher limits.

Both editions can be tried for free in development and staging.
