Streamline and improve content governance

The Entry Type plugin gives site administrators fine-grain control over who can add and edit entry types. It also allows administrators to limit the number of entry types on a given page, preventing problems with site architecture.

Use Entry Type Rules to

• Apply fine-grain limits on the number of entry types
• Improve content governance for multi-author sites
• Prevent unauthorized changes
• Prevent problems with site architecture

Entry Type Rules will allow you to restrict entry types in sections based on a count limit and/or user groups. Restricting entry types can be helpful, for example, in a structure section where you might want only one "Contact" entry type within a "Pages" structure section, or if you want to allow only certain user groups to create a "Blog Landing Page" entry type.
