Formable

Formable is a form builder for Craft CMS 5. You build forms visually in the control panel, and what gets rendered on the front end is accessible, easy to style, and careful with the data people give you.

## Building a form

- 26 field types, arranged by drag and drop: Name, Address, Table, Signature, Rating, File Upload, relations to Entries and Categories, and all the usual text, choice and date fields.
- Multi-page forms with a progress indicator and a review step before submitting. Moving back and forward keeps every answer.
- Accessibility is built in: proper labels, an error summary linking to each problem, messages tied to their field, step changes announced to screen readers, a sensible focus order, and right-to-left support. Automated accessibility tests run against the rendered markup before every release.
- The default theme is neutral and built from CSS custom properties. Set your brand colour with a single variable, override individual tokens, or start from a minimal reset and style it yourself. Light, dark and automatic colour schemes are included.

## Managing submissions

- Browse, search, edit and export submissions, with statuses you define.
- Notification emails are sent inside your own email template, with a plain-text version.
- Spam protection: a honeypot, timing checks, rate limiting, and keyword and IP blocklists.
- Sensitive fields can be encrypted at rest, and storing IP addresses is optional.
- Forms move between environments by import and export, from the control panel or a console command.

## Pro

- Conditional logic for fields, pages, notifications and integrations, evaluated in the browser and again on the server.
- Integrations with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Slack and any webhook, with per-form field mapping and the option to resend a failed delivery.
- reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha and Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Save and resume for long forms, with a link emailed to the person filling it in.
- Per-site translations of every label and message, without duplicating the form.
- A GraphQL API for headless front ends.
- Retention windows that purge old submissions, and edit history showing who changed what.
- Scheduled forms, submission limits, a weekly digest email, and members editing their own submissions.

## Editions

Lite is free and covers everything above apart from the Pro list. Pro adds the rest. In Lite, Pro features show an upgrade prompt rather than an error, and you can run Pro on a development site before buying.

Craft CMS 5.10.7 or later, PHP 8.2 or later.
