MailChannels

Add MailChannels to Craft's Email settings to send system notifications and email from plugins that use Craft's mailer. Uses the official MailChannels PHP SDK for plain text and HTML messages, recipients, reply-to and attachments.

Keep your API key in a server environment variable; Craft stores only its name. The adapter checks synchronous API acceptance, respects recipient-envelope overrides and reports failures without exposing provider response bodies.

Requires a MailChannels account and an authorized sending domain. Configure the sender in Craft and provision the API key for both web and queue workers. Craft's test email is a real send. Accepted messages still require delivery monitoring.

Requires Craft CMS 5.11.4 or later within Craft 5 and PHP 8.2 or later within PHP 8. Review the README for tested versions, setup and retry/logging considerations. Does not replace sending services independently implemented by other plugins.
