Primer

Primer gives the relation fields of new entries a starting selection. An editor creates a News › Article, and its Topics, Authors and Hero Image fields already hold what the site usually wants there.

• Presets per section and entry type. Pick which Entries, Assets and Users fields a preset holds and fill them in Craft's own fields, the way you would on an entry. Content Blocks with relation fields can go in as a whole.
• Once, into empty fields. Primer fills a new entry once, when it is created or switches entry type, and only the fields that are still empty. After that the entry is the editor's. It works wherever entries are created: the control panel, slideouts, the console, migrations, Feed Me and other imports.
• Across sites, like an entry. A preset spans the sites a new entry of its section would be saved to, follows Craft's propagation and translation methods, and can be switched on or off per site.
• Craft's own UI. An index of every section, a page per section and a screen per preset, each also as a slideout. One permission, Access Primer.

Requires Craft CMS 5.11.5+ and PHP 8.2+. Several sites need Craft Pro.
