SEO by ROOGUL covers the SEO most Craft sites actually need: global defaults, per-entry overrides, and solid output.

Features

• Global SEO settings per site: site name, title template, default description, share image, X handle and organisation details. They're stored in the database, so editors can change them on production. On multi-site installs, blank fields fall back to the primary site.
• An SEO field with a live Google-style preview and character counts. Override the title, description, share image, canonical URL and robots settings per entry, category or Commerce product.
• Fallback fields: when an SEO value is blank, the plugin uses your existing content. Set it to take the description from summary or body, and the image from heroImage. Editors only fill in SEO when they want to.
• Automatic output through {{ head() }}, with no template changes:
  • title and meta description
  • canonical URL, plus hreflang alternates for multi-site installs
  • meta robots
  • Open Graph and X cards, with share images auto-cropped to 1200×630
  • JSON-LD for WebSite, Organisation or Person, WebPage and BreadcrumbList
• XML sitemaps for each section, category group and Commerce product type. Entries marked noindex are left out automatically, and sitemaps refresh when content changes.
• An editable robots.txt for each site.
• Staging is protected automatically: non-production environments get noindex and a disallow-all robots.txt.

For developers

Override anything from a template, or add your own structured data:

The output is plain server-rendered markup, so it works with Blitz, Craft Cloud and any CDN.

What it doesn't do

There's no keyword scoring, redirect manager or schema builder. It's meant to stay small, fast and out of the way.
