SEO Redirect Manager for Craft CMS 5

SEO Redirect Manager is an enterprise-grade redirect management, 404 monitoring, and SEO link equity preservation plugin engineered specifically for Craft CMS 5 and Craft Cloud.

Whether migrating an existing website, rebranding URL structures, managing marketing campaigns, or fixing broken links, SEO Redirect Manager gives agencies and developers total control over site routing with zero performance penalty for valid visitor traffic.

🚀 Key Capabilities

⚡ True Zero-Overhead Performance

Unlike legacy redirect plugins that run database queries on every single incoming web request, SEO Redirect Manager hooks exclusively into Craft's 404 exception pipeline (ErrorHandler::EVENT_BEFORE_HANDLE_EXCEPTION). Valid requests (200 OK) experience 0ms latency and zero redirect-table database lookups.

🎯 Multi-Tier Matching Engine

Exact Path Matching: Case-sensitive or insensitive matching, trailing slash normalization, and site-specific scoping with global fallback.
Regex Patterns: Powerful regular expressions with capture group backreferences ($1, $2) for dynamic pattern migrations.
Query String Control: Choose how query parameters are handled per rule: preserve, exact match, or ignore.

🔄 Automatic Entry Slug & URI Tracking

Never lose search engine rankings when content editors change an entry's title, slug, or parent hierarchy. SEO Redirect Manager automatically listens for entry save events and creates clean 301 redirects from the old URI to the new URI.

🔗 Chain & Loop Detection

Redirect Chains: Graph analysis detects multi-hop chains (e.g. /legacy-page → /old-page → /new-page). Use the 1-click "Optimize to Direct Route" button to eliminate intermediate hops, saving crawl budget and reducing page load latency.
Redirect Loops: Graph cycle detection warns you of circular rules (/a ↔ /b) before browsers fail with ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS.

🔍 404 Not Found Monitor

Aggregates missing page requests with hit counters, referrers, and user agents.
Automatically redacts sensitive query parameters (passwords, auth tokens, session IDs).
Built-in ignore rules for asset probes (*.map, *.ico, wp-admin/*).
1-click "Redirect" button turns any logged 404 into an active redirect rule in seconds.

🚀 Branded Short Links

Create clean, memorable vanity URLs for campaigns, print collateral, or social media (e.g., /go/promo or /go/pricing) with dedicated click tracking.

📁 Streamlined CSV Import & Export

High-performance streaming parser handles thousands of rules with low memory usage.
Dry-run validation preview table catches formatting errors and duplicate rules before writing to the database.
Built-in CSV formula injection protection guards against spreadsheet DDE exploits.

🛡️ SSRF Security Defense

External destination health checks prevent Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) by blocking calls to loopback (127.0.0.1), RFC 1918 private networks, and cloud instance metadata endpoints (169.254.169.254).

☁️ Built for Craft Cloud

Stateless architecture: No local filesystem dependency.
Queue-backed background jobs for destination checks and log pruning.
Granular permissions for administrative teams.
