Soft Limit

Soft Limit makes it effortless to guide content length in Craft CMS — just add [soft-limit:150] (or any number) to a field’s instructions and your authors will see a live, colour-coded character counter as they type. There’s no need to create special fields or change your workflow; it works instantly with existing Plain Text, CKEditor, and Redactor fields. Counters turn orange as authors approach the limit and red when they exceed it, giving clear, non-blocking feedback that helps keep meta descriptions, summaries, and product copy concise and on-brand.
