Version 5.1.0

October 9, 2026

Added

  • When Toss is installed with its cookie consent kit on, prerendering waits for consent. The page carries prefetch rules in place of prerender rules, and an inline script adds the prerender rules in the browser once the visitor grants analytics and marketing consent in Toss — and removes them if they withdraw. Every visitor is sent the same page, so full-page caching is unaffected. New settings deferToToss (on) and prerenderConsent (analytics, marketing); without Toss nothing changes.
  • The Rules screen shows the prerender rules held for consent, the URL checker says a held prerender is prefetched until then, and speculatr/rules/show --held prints them.

Security

  • The control panel exclusion is sent only in signed-in visitors' rules, so a renamed cpTrigger is not published on every public page.

Fixed

  • The Speculation-Rules header now carries a root-relative URL, so it always points at the origin the page was served from rather than one built from an unpinned @web.
