Unique Value Field

Unique Value Field adds a custom text field for values that must stay unique across your Craft content.

Useful for SKUs, reference numbers, registration codes, ISBNs, slugs, external IDs, and similar identifiers, or anything that needs to be kept unique.

Uniqueness can be global or scoped by Site, Element Type, Entry Section, Entry Type, or another custom field. Multiple scopes are combined, so a value only conflicts when all enabled scope conditions match.

Features include:

• Case-sensitive or case-insensitive uniqueness
• Optional automatic suffixing for duplicates, e.g. 'item-1', 'item-2', etc
• Optional Format validation for UUIDs, dates, slugs, semantic versions, ISBNs, IP addresses, email addresses, custom regexes, and more
• Minimum and maximum character lengths
• Optional Read-only behaviour after first save, with a copy button
• Multi-site support and safe handling of drafts/revisions

Works with Craft element types that support custom fields, including Entries, Categories, Users, and Assets.
