"Where's my order?"

A customer rings to say they were charged but never got a confirmation. Or the payment failed twice and they gave up. Or a coupon didn't apply and now they want the difference back. Commerce tells you what the order looks like now. It doesn't tell you how it got there.

Order Lifecycle does. Every order gets a timeline on its own edit page: the cart being made, items added and taken out, the coupon, the address, the shipping choice, each payment attempt and what the gateway said, every email sent or failed, status changes and refunds. Each step shows what changed from the one before, and keeps a copy of the order as it was at that moment. There's no code to add and nothing for your staff to do.

So when the phone rings, you open the order and you can see what happened, instead of guessing.

Why carts don't turn into orders

The same record adds up across the whole shop. The dashboard shows how many carts become orders, how many are left behind, how long checkout takes, how often payments need a second go, and whether your emails are getting out, for whatever period you pick and compared with the one before.

That's where you find the step in checkout that's losing people, or the payment method that keeps failing, before it shows up in the month's takings.

Works without AI

Everything above works with no setup and no API key. If you'd like, add your own Anthropic API key and Claude will read one order, or the whole shop, and tell you in plain words what's worth looking at. It only sees what happened, never the customer's name, email or address, and it only runs when you ask.
